Geneva Study Bible

The original Geneva Bible opened the doors for millions of Christians to read the Bible in their own language and understand it without the help of a priest. The New Geneva Study Bible captures the original spirit of this with great study notes from reformed Christian leaders such as editors R.C. Sproul and J.I. Packer.

The same editorial staff teamed up to replace the New Geneva Study Bible with the Reformation Study Bible. This carries the tradition of the Geneva study Bible under a new name.

The Geneva study Bible is available in hardcover and leather editions. It is translated in the New King James Version.

If you want a more historic and authentic copy of the Geneva Bible, copies of the 1560 and 1599 versions are also available.

Full Color Bible

The full color Bible, formerly known as the Rainbow study Bible (old versions are still available), is unique among study Bibles and is great for both new Christians and those who have been studying the Bible for a long time.

The full color Bible color codes the Bible into different themes. Each theme is represented by a different color and every time the topic of a passage changes, so does the highlight color. No longer will you have to struggle with what the author is talking about. One glance at the color and you will know that he is discussing love or forgiveness or sin. The full color Bible breaks down scripture so that everyone can grasp the big picture of a biblical passage.

You can purchase the full color Bible in hardcover form or in an attractive duo-tone leather. It is available in both the NIV and KJV translations.

Collins Study Bible

The Collins Study Bible, also known as the HarperCollins Study Bible or HCSB contains maps, study notes, and introductions to each book of the Bible. In the new, revised version of the Collins Study Bible there are informative essays on the archaeology of ancient Israel and the New Testament world, the religion of ancient Israel, and the social and historical context of each biblical book.

Some may consider the study notes in this Bible to be more liberal than other study Bibles while others may consider it to be fair and balanced. Some of the biblical stories are not interpreted as literal in the notes (Jonah, parts of Daniel, Esther, and certain miracles.) This should be considered when considering a purchase of the Collins study Bible.
